To request ambulance transport or the cost of ambulance transport, please ring the following telephone number: (+351) 282 420 400.
Our air conditioned ambulances can transport patient to any part of the country.
Ambulance transport can be booked by telephone, or internally for patients admitted to one of the Units of the HPA Group. Urgent transfer of patients within our Hospital Group, is also be carried out by our ambulance service.
Our Ambulances are all Type A1, for transporting individual patient, and are equipped according to current legislation, consisting of all the necessary transport and mobilization equipment, disinfection equipment, defibrillators, vital signs monitors (invasive and non-invasive), airway control equipment and ventilation.
Because the safety of our patients is paramount, there are internal protocols for activating the transport team.
This team consists of Transport Ambulance Crew, supported by nurses or doctors, depending on the individual situation.
